- The Programming Tool: Generalized Algebraic Modelling Systems (GAMS), Schneider, Block course, ZMAW 024 (Computer lab). This is a quick introduction to GAMS for beginners. To prepare yourself for this course, you may read the book by McCarl and Spreen or my classnotes on mathematical programming. Computer, software, and a GAMS course license will be provided. Participants of the beginners course are welcome to stay on. Major topics include systematic GAMS model check (diagnosing and correcting infeasibilities, unboundedness, non-sensible solutions), advanced GAMS syntax, links to other program.
