  • CIS of HDGC

    The Center for Integrated Study of the Human Dimensions of Global Change is a US-NSF-sponsored collaborative centre of excellence led by Baruch Fischhoff of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. The CIS of HDGC develops and applies integrated assessment techniques to various aspects of global change, emphasizing its social, economic and political dimensions.
  • ECF

    The European Climate Forum is an industry-sponsored network led by Carlo Jaeger of PIK, Potsdam. The ECF pursues reasonable discussion between its members on the possible causes and consequences of anthropogenic climate change as well as on adaptation and mitigation policies to avoid or reduce current and future impacts of climate change; it promotes research on these matters; and it presents research and discussion results to a wider public.

    The Centre for Fisheries and Aquaculture Management and Economics, led by Niels Vestergaard of the University of Southern Denmark. FAME is a network and research school.
  • IMPRS-ESM

    The International Max Planck Research School of Earth Systems Modelling is sponsored by the Max Planck Society and the Zeit Foundation and led by Guy Brasseur of the Max Planck Institute of Meteorology, Hamburg. It trains young researchers in the skills and tools of earth system modelling, and furthers the state of the art of such models.
  • IMPRS-MA
