CHIMP
The Canberra-Hamburg Integrated Model of Population (CHIMP) is a demographic model to beused together with an economic model for long-term growth projections. CHIMP iscohort-based, and included fertility, mortality and migration. Parameters aredriven by per capita income, technological change, and projections of pasttrends. CHIMP runs in time-steps of five years for sixteen world regions.
The modelcan be downloaded here. You will need a C++ compiler torun it, and knowledge of that language to change the model.
